Hi Johnny,
(first of all - unfortunately, I don't have the slightest idea what you mean with "calling kettle black", that expression is unknown to me...)
Are you addressing this post directly to me? Kind of seems to be so. Please also have a look at my postings in the "Soldier" and "Mojave booth" threads.
Yes, you have the freedom of speech here. Try to be somewhat bike related, but if you're not, you won't get bitten your head off. But please avoid extremely itchy themes (next somebody starts a pro/contra abortion flamewar or religious warfare themes!) - we don't want such things here. Even if some of you may not mind, some may do, *and I do!*
Concerning your "... when you see something that does not meet your standards" statement: I do not agree here. My opinion is: Freedom of speech is definitively good, but one has to accept at least *some* rules. Don't act like "You can buy bombs in the supermarket now (in the US, it is not too far away from that, but let's drop that story as we did before). There is a sticker on it reading 'Use at own risk. Store this item out of reach of children'" or "Book title: 'How to mentally torture a human being without leaving apparent traces' - don't read it if you don't like it". *Major* exaggeration, but maybe you get my point. Would you *really* leave the bombs in the market and the book in the library?
And to all other (non-american) people possibly reading this: Be a little bit more patient with our fellow US posters, their mentality is definitively different from, let's say, the average European one. Avoid flaming someone without being sure what was really meant. How about asking before...
Thank you...
Btw. - trike? Which trike? ;-)
Bert.
